Smart Cloud’s Level-1 Data Recovery is our first line of defense for retrieving lost data. This service utilizes advanced software utilities to target logical errors—such as accidental deletions or file corruption—where the physical hardware of the drive is still healthy.
Our "No Data, No Fee" Promise: Data recovery is complex. While we use industry-leading tools, results are never guaranteed. Our process is built on transparency: You only pay the $299 recovery fee if we can successfully recover the specific data you need and you approve the result.
Important Note on Data Integrity: Please be aware that data recovery is rarely 100%. In some cases, files may be "recovered" (found by the system) but remain partially or fully corrupt (e.g., a photo that opens but is half-grey, or a document with garbled text). We strive to identify these issues, but we cannot guarantee the full functionality of every recovered file.
How It Works:
Hassle-Free Intake: We arrange for the pickup of your device (Hard Drive, SSD, USB, or SD Card) to bring it to our lab.
Free Diagnostic & First Attempt: We perform a non-invasive scan to assess the drive's health. This is our primary attempt to logically rebuild your data structures without altering the hardware.
Verification Report: We generate a "File Manifest"—a complete list of files the system has found.
The Integrity Check: You review this list to ensure your critical files are present. Note: We strongly encourage you to verify the most important files before payment.Approval & Payment: If you are satisfied with the recoverable data on the manifest, you approve the job and pay the flat recovery fee.
Secure Transfer: We restore your data to a clean external drive (yours or one purchased from us) and return your equipment.
